The all new Junk VooDoo XFirm uses no pigments through the hub or the urethane, giving you pure, raw performance. It uses a new - redesigned natural turbo hub. This turbine hub is made under our most strict standards, using a new, one cavity tool, instead of 4 cavities, the industry standard, which allows us to control the quality of each hub and make sure there are no deviations from wheel to wheel.
For urethane we chose MPC’s Magic Urethane, our best formulation ever, known for its performance under the feet of world’s greatest inline speed skaters. It offers excellent grip, roll, and wear characteristics. At the 2018 Inline Speed Skating World Championships in Heerde, Holland, it claimed more podium places than all other urethanes combined.
Our engineers carefully considered every aspect of the design, from hub stiffness and size, to a sandwiched Mtech® inner ring inside the cutting-edge Magic urethane. MTech® Soft Heart, Hard Body™ is the essence of MPC’s patented and instantly recognizable technology, that combines a soft inner ring with harder outer urethane. These frames are Junk, a Special kind of Junk. Engineered for speed, these frames are lightweight with optimal stiffness. Every cut, shape, edge, and design cue was influenced by hundreds of hours of testing by world champions and top inline speed skaters.
Performance was behind every engineering decision we made. Like all Junk frames, these are built using a single piece of Aircraft Aluminum 7075-T6. Each frame is processed using CNC machinery, which is a manufacturing process in which a computer is programmed to grind the piece into a specific shape. This ensures the quality of each frame is precise and symmetrical. Furthermore, a T6 heat treatment was applied to increase stiffness to an optimal level for stability, control, and responsiveness for each frame. The geometry of frames also features sleek groves meant to reduce weight, and coincidentally add to its stunning design.
The SPECIAL frames have a 4x110 setup, weighing 205 grams. They’re best for an all-around skater and favored for long distance events on both, track and road, and especially points and elimination races. The frames are stiff enough to maintain momentum in straightaways, yet flexible enough to promote acceleration coming out of the corners. Then, when you need to sprint for those points, they are stiff enough go turn your power into acceleration.

Having this incredible combination gives our bearings tighter tolerances that translate into greater acceleration, higher top end speed and greater strength and durability. (We have reports that these bearings blow the competition away in rainy races)
As with all of our top bearings, our ceramic balls are made out of the top quality Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) which made them almost indestructible.
Our bearings feature a Removable Rubber Shield that allows for easy maintenance, greatly reduced friction, and has none of the annoying rattling noise from regular metal shields.
We got away from metal retainers and chose High Speed Nylon Ball Retainers which generate less friction, allow you to maintain your forward momentum better and also rids our bearings from the annoying rattling noises of metal retainers. Another great advantage of Nylon retainers is that we have one less piece of metal to rust.
Our Si3N4 Ceramic Balls are much lighter than their steel counterparts and water resistant, which means no rust on the bearing balls. They are also harder and last longer than any steel bearing balls on the market today.
The titanium plating compliments the ceramic balls perfectly and helps make the race ways better at preventing rust. (You still need to service them after skating in the rain, but they will last longer than race ways made of steel only)

We have the increased acceleration and tighter tolerances of the 6ix larger balls and deeper raceways combined with black titanium plating. The black titanium plating makes bearings' races more durable and more rust resistant. The balls are made of the highest quality Ceramic Silicon Nitride (Si3N4). They’re the lightest Junk frames model and have the lowest center of gravity. Juju is built for agility and lightness for both short sprints and grueling long races.
We named these frames Juju, which means to have magic luck and special powers. Juju is a type of magic originating from West Africa that uses objects believed to have special powers. We hope they bring you some good juju!
